Uluru Day 3 - Kings Canyon

We travelled to a different camp this time.  There was time to shower, swim and chill before dinner.  Connor made a Chilli using cast pots and the fire only.  It was cool.  The wind was strong and blowing smoke nd sparks across our huge fire.  We had to move our Swags a little so as to not die.  We were way warmer that the night before.  It rained a tiny bit at night, enough to wake you up and realize it was raining on your exposed head.  Luckily the rain lasted only for a few minutes and we all went back to sleep.  Up at 5:00 AM again for breakfast and hit the road at 6:00 AM ish

Read the warning, this one has a pretty decent initial climb called heart attack hill

Off we go

Kinda steep but really well made steps.  Nothing like Levuka Fiji

The ranger station with a AED for heart attacks.  (At the top, hmm)

Popular posing spot

We are warned to stay back 2 meters, you will see why later

Perty girl

Theories about how this thing was formed.  Debated it was an earthquake epicenter

The trail, steps and structures are really impressive here

The garden of eden.  This is the first water we have seen as it's unusually dry here these days

More water here too

We were there.  You fall, you die, stay 2 metres back

Hit the camel ride place on the way back.  This guy was happy to see us

He even blew us a kiss

Some Pano's

See you Alice Springs, great tour Connor
