Our last days in Sydney :-( - October 27-29

We walked quite a bit yesterday.  Not only to see Sydney but also to get back from the train.  The station where we live at had frequent trains that don't stop.  We chose to stop at the nearest station and walk.  It was only 1.5 KM's and it's such nice weather here (24C during the day) it made for a nice walk.

Todays adventure was the ferry to Toranga Zoo. https://taronga.org.au/sydney-zoo  It was a stt holiday today as well as the beginning of a school vacation period.  The crowds were kinda crazy.

The Zoo is impressive but I'm started to have second thoughts about caged animals.  I'm all into doing so to return endagered species back to normal numbers.  Doing it simply for fun no longer feels right.  Either way it's an impressive undertaking to have so many species in one massive area.

Hoped onto the city ferry.  Nice sunny day, kinda windy but totally fun

These people are waiting to take a short Gondola ride up, weird

We walked

Saw a nice beach before the entrance
This is the first beach we saw so far.  Small but cute

The Emperor Penguins are huge

More pics from Michelle's camera later :-)
