We drove 581 KM's today from Airlie Beach to RockHampton. We were up at 5 and out by 6:15. The Jucy handled well for a bouncy castle. Warning signs to take rests and not die were plentiful. It's a dangerous part of the route I guess. We took short breaks to stretch and chill. I think the next long burn will have more longer breaks. We hit RockHampton around 1:00 and checked into Discover Park's Rockhampton right at our ballpark of 2:00 PM. It's friggin hot at that time. Fortunately they had 3 pools. 1 warmish, 1 cool and 1 kiddy. They were all welcomed to chill and plan. Tomorrow is another 3 hours to Hervey Bay yay. The bird action at this park is crazy. It's neat to hear all the different bird sounds.

So like I said the bird population here is epic. All kinds of crazy sounds happening from these amazing creatures. They gathered on a nearby tree and decided to have a party beside us
