Early rise, drive to Nelson, fly to Wellington, fly to Queenstown

Something I ate made for a crummy sleep.  Drive to Nelson went smooth.  Washed and fueled the car.  17L of gas.  Very efficient Toyota for all this driving we did.  Cost 48 bucks, wow

Waited for a nice small plane in Nelson.  Whatever I ate decided it's time to leave.  Luckily is was in a bathroom and not on the plane.  Felt great after.  Nelson to Wellington was 25 minutes.

An hour later we were on an A320 to Queenstown.  Wow this place is cool.  It's like a really big not so pricey Whistler Canada.

As it's KT's last night, we hit the streets and did the Gondolla and Luge again.  It's cooler here with snow actually yesterday.  Being Canadian it's just like home

Boarded our little plane

See yah Nelson

Caught the tire there, see the smoke

No were are on the A320

See you Wellington

Lotsa decent sized mountains and quite a bit of snow

Our plane.  We walked off, cool eh

The view 3 minutes from our hostel

The view from the top after a gondola ride

KT and I did 3 luge runs.  We owned it

Time to pose for a few last evening shots

  1. If you go kayaking, beware of octopus wielding seals! Their aim is deadly!!
