You can hear and see bubbling steam and mud in places.
It's tempting to walk past these warning fences but the rock can be thin in places. Falling into boiling water/steam or mud would be really bad.
The city bus to the Skyline Rotorua. It's only like 5 minutes

This Cherry Blossom walk is part of a Japanese initiative to expand these beautiful wonders all over the world. We were very lucky they were in full bloom.
