We said goodbye to our new friends at the hostel and we out for an early departure to our tour bus.  We wound up on a different bus I think but at least we landed in the same place.  I still need to look into that later.  The roads here are pretty rough.  Much of them are under construction.  The bumps and dust are immense.  Hours of bumpy roads lined with hard manual labor.  Their work is beautiful.  Artistic almost.  Pokhara is home to a lakeside community beside the beautiful Phewa lake.  We were fortunate to land here within their 5 days of New Years celebration.  It was also their 20th Street Festival.  Many locals and tourists were here.  Many were from close neighboring countries. The hotels, restaurants and streets were packed with happy smiling people.  It was really nice to see. The lake is populated by beautiful watercraft and it's shore lined with all kinds of beautiful celebrations.  We spend some time finding and renting mid sized nap sacs for our Trek and repacked for the Trek. We also could not stop going to a local Mediterranean Restaurant called the Med 5 http://www.med5restaurant.com/  They were awesome.  Plus they had a fire lol.  We were ready to hit the Mountains, yay

These guys are so awesome
