Goodbye Greece - Hello Bari Italy - May 9–11

Our Bari Airbnb was so close to the train station.  It was great.  Since most European cities train stations are in the core of the city, getting around to see cool things is super easy.  We were pretty close to a groceries so we grabbed a few items and put them into our shared fridge.  In our first exploration of the city we discovered a very beautiful port.  It's too bad we only had 2 nights here.  Preparations were underway for a large celebration called The Festa di San Nicola, or Feast of Saint Nicholas.  What timing :-)  Michelle Googled a well reviewed restaurant so we could finally experience real Pizza.  OMG the wheat they use here is so different.

I can easily eat an entire pizza and feel no bloating.  Yum.  We just had to head back to the Ferris wheel and festival with Kaitlyn in the evening.  The fireworks show was insane.  Lot's of silly people brought their dogs and they were totally freaking out.  That obviously upset us of bit.  Michelle and I did another expanded exploration discovering the port and community is just so pretty.  It was our first time exploring an old Italian city with its elaborate and thin winding cobblestone roads.  I should have planned a few more days here.  We just scratched the surface of the beautiful Bari.  Sadly we had only one more evening to back and prepare for out earlyish train to Roma.  At least our train was easy to grab lol.
